Reviews & Information about Colon Cleansing

Intro to Colon cleansing

The colon is a portion of the large intestine that begins at the cecum and ends at the rectum. The state of the colon can directly and indirectly affect the condition of all the other organs in your body. A problem with the colon can result in a domino effect; if the colon isn’t healthy then the liver can’t function as well, when the liver can’t work properly then the kidneys begin to wear down, so on and so forth.

It’s no coincidence that you’ve stumbled upon a colon-cleansing article! You’re probably experiencing some sort of constipation, candida, sluggishness or some other type of problem that may be linked to a problem in the colon.

A large number of people have an unhealthy colon, one that is filled with toxins and mucoid plaque. How does this happen? Well, our diet and lifestyle plays a large part in how clean our colons are. In today’s fast food, meat-eating world, Americans are taking in a large amount of protein. While protein is a necessity to your body, consuming too much protein can lead to an over abundance of acid in the body. Too much acid in your body results in the depletion of electrolytes and minerals that are beneficial to the body.

The depletion of these resources, in turn, hinders the colons ability to break down harmful bacteria and rid the body of dangerous toxins. Pizza, burgers, sweets, fries, soda; these are all types of junk food that we consume on an everyday basis. These foods, when overeaten, can lead to mucoid plaque buildup in our colon. The environment we live in also plays a big role in the cause of a unhealthy colon. Secondhand smoke, smog, pollution, everyday chemicals, all can slowly weaken and overwork your immune system which results in an overworked and weakened colon.

Most of us are subjected to harmful toxins during our everyday activities. These toxins are from our environment, lifestyle, bad diet, and overeating. A buildup of these toxins causes our colon to work extremely hard. As I mentioned before; an unhappy colon probably means your kidneys and liver aren’t so happy either. So if you want to start feeling cleaner and healthier, you have to start by cleaning out your colon.
